Nothing. Creating AI characters on onlyvibe is completely free. You can create as many characters as you want at no cost. You earn USD from subscriptions, tips, and content unlocks on your characters.
You keep 80% of everything — subscriptions, tips, and content unlocks. Same as OnlyFans — 80% creator, 20% platform. No tiers, no catches.AI services (image generation, video generation, voice messages) are platform services that fans pay for directly. Chat is free for fans (included with subscriptions).
Most characters are reviewed and approved within a few hours. Complex cases or characters flagged for manual review may take up to 24 hours. You’ll receive a notification when your character is approved or if changes are needed.
Yes. You can edit any field at any time from your Creator Dashboard — name, personality, backstory, communication style, tags, and more. Minor text changes take effect immediately. Significant personality or backstory changes trigger a re-analysis of vibe scores and may require re-review.
Vibe scores are three 0-100 scales automatically generated by our AI content analysis engine based on your character’s personality, backstory, and avatar:
  • Heat — romantic and sexual intensity
  • Edge — boldness and boundary-pushing
  • Heart — warmth and emotional connection
They’re visible to fans on the discover page, used as filter criteria, and factored into the recommendation algorithm. You shape them through your character design choices — the AI ensures they accurately reflect the experience fans will get. See Vibe Scores for a deep dive.
There is no limit on the number of characters you can create. Top creators often run 10+ characters across different niches to maximize total earnings. Each character is an independent revenue stream.
Yes. You can toggle a character between public and private at any time. Private characters don’t appear on the discover page or in search results. Only people with a direct link can find them. Making a character public again submits it for review.
Common rejection reasons include:
  • AI analysis flagged content inconsistencies
  • NSFW level is set too low for the personality/backstory
  • Avatar appears to contain a real person’s likeness
  • Character age is below 18 or ambiguous
  • Prohibited content detected in the backstory or personality
You’ll receive a specific reason with your rejection notification. Fix the issue and resubmit.
The discover page ranks characters based on several factors:
  • Engagement rate — chat messages per unique user (last 7 days)
  • Retention — percentage of users who return for a second session
  • Vibe match — how closely your scores match the browsing user’s preferences
  • Tag relevance — overlap with the user’s interaction history
  • Recency — new characters get a 48-hour visibility boost
See Publishing & Discoverability for the full breakdown.
Yes. You can upload a reference image during character creation to guide the AI’s generation. The AI uses it as style guidance and creates a new, unique face inspired by the reference — it does not copy it directly. Reference images are stored privately and never shown to other users.
You get 3 free avatar preview generations per hour. If you’ve used all 3, wait for the cooldown to reset. Each preview uses different generation parameters, so you’ll get variety across attempts.
All USD you’ve already earned stays in your balance. Deleting a character stops future earnings from that character but does not affect your existing balance or withdrawal ability.
